Order Cut-Off Times & Delivery Days
Place your orders before 1pm Monday to Friday for next-day delivery Tuesday to Saturday. Orders after 1pm are allocated to the next available delivery day. Orders after 1pm Friday are dispatched Monday for Tuesday delivery.
For rural deliveries, please order by 1pm on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday only.
Deliveries are left at your door by CourierPost/NZ Post, usually by midday but no later than 5pm depending on demand and conditions. Some areas do not have Saturday delivery—please check your address [here]. Saturday delivery incurs a surcharge; please select this option if needed.
Delivery Areas & Conditions
We deliver overnight to urban areas in both the North and South Islands via NZ Post (CourierPost). Rural deliveries usually take two nights.
For frozen or live products, we pack carefully but cannot guarantee that frozen items remain frozen or live items remain alive beyond one night in transit. Rural deliveries dispatch Monday to Wednesday only. Responsibility for rural delivery conditions lies with the receiver.
Note: All times are under standard conditions. Weather or other factors may cause delays beyond our control.
Temperature Check: Please check product temperature on arrival. If warm, do not consume and contact us immediately.
Frozen & Live Products

Frozen products start thawing once packed. Responsibility for thawed products lies with the receiver. Do not refreeze thawed products; consume within 3 days.

All live products leave us alive, but some may not survive transit. If product arrives cold, it is still fresh. Live mussels may open shells after cold transit; leaving them in a warmer spot for 15 minutes usually revives them.
Product Weights
For products sold by weight (e.g., 500g fish fillets), we pack at least the stated weight. Sizes may vary daily. If you prefer specific sizes, please note it in instructions (not guaranteed).
Handling on Arrival

Remove seafood from packaging upon arrival. Store on a plate in the fridge covered with cling film or kitchen paper until ready to use. Fresh seafood typically lasts 5 days from packing; best consumed within 2 days. Freezing fresh product is acceptable.
